The Hobart Midcity Hotel is a well-located budget property putting you in the heart of the CBD and an easy walk from most Hobart attractions. The hotel is a short stroll to the popular eateries of North Hobart, Salamanca Place and the wonderful Hobart Sullivans Cove waterfront area. The Hobart Midcity Hotel offers a range of basic hotel and motel accommodation over five floors, all accessible by lift and affording views across Hobart and towards Mount Wellington. The Midcity Bar and Cafe and the Oasis Gaming Lounge are open all day. Jetstar says: Well located budget hotel.

Great hotel for those on a budget.... or not!

Don’t let the dated façade fool you, the interior of the hotel is modern and clean with really friendly, helpful staff. I chose the hotel due to the tight budget my partner and I were travelling on and we were delighted to find what a nice hotel this was. We stayed in a king room, which was spacious enough for us to relax in and the mini bar prices…. Cheaper than what you would pay at the super market! The hotel is easy to find and is centrally located, with the CBD and Salamanca about 10 minutes away on foot a few more minutes walk and you can enjoy a beautiful dinner down by the waterfront.

Staff at this hotel made me feel very welcome, it was my first time in Hobart and they were more than happy to assist me in where to go and what to see.
The hotel was right in the middle of the cbd, close to everything i needed, restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions.
